Static or Fly Away Hair
Lemon mist spray: ltsp lemon juice , 1 tsp. kombucha brew, 1 cup of water. Mix all ingredients together, pour into a spray mist bottle. Spray onto damp hair and style as usual, keep mist in refrigerator for five days. Dry and brittle hair: banana conditioning pack - 1 mashed banana, Vi cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. coconut oil. Combine ingredients and apply mixture to clean damp hair, put on a shower cap, then wrap a warm towel over and leave for 20 minute, then rinse well.
Dry itchy scalp: avocado moisturising mask -1 avocado, pitted and peeled, 1 teaspoon avocado oil. Mash ingredients, together and spread through damp hair and on scalp. Cover with a shower cap, then wrap a warm towel over the cap. Leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo and rinse well.
Head Lice
Essential oils: combine equal parts of lemon, rosemary, clove, thyme, cinnamon, mustard, lavender, orange oil - one drop will kill mites. As a prevention essential oils of rosemary, geranium, lavender, eucalyptus and lemon are lice deterrents. Add 2 drops of any of the essential oils to 1 tbsp of guava vinegar to the final hair rinse
Guava: boiled up to a thick liquid and mixed with turmeric can be applied for head lice.
