Skin disorders: bunions and blisters

        SKIN DISORDERS: BUNIONS AND BLISTERS
Bunions
A very painful and inflamed condition, over the joint at the base of the big toe. The toe joint projects outward pushing the big toe over the other toes. Bunions are often the result of wearing pointed shoes or boots and also narrow high heel shoes.
Ice: apply ice packs and sit with feet elevated.
Kombucha Culture: rub olive oil into bunion before applying the kombucha culture to relieve pain.
Bunion Oil: massage the foot with a combination of 5 drops of each of the essential oils tagets, chamomile, carrot and calendula into 30 ml of St. John's wort oil.
Blisters
As a prevention rub the feet with methylated or surgical spirits.
An old fashioned remedy is a poultice made of cabbage leaves cooked in milk, or a poultice of freshly grated carrots and apply to blisters. For blisters that are broken, apply fresh garlic juice or a mixture of honey and cornflour which is made to a paste. To keep feet free of blisters, place fresh plantain leaves in the shoes.
Kombucha: soak feet in a kombucha foot bath or apply compress or a poultice.
Water: Pierce blisters with a sterile needle and bathe affected area with dead water for about ten minutes, then five minutes later bathe the affected area with living water. Repeat bathing with living water every 3 hours until healed. Affected area must be protected with sterile dressing during the treatment.
